80 vueltas Indoor Karting Barcelona por equipos 14/2/20

2nd place IKB 80 vueltas X parejas con Miki Santamaria representando ERT Endurance Racing Team.

En la clasificación @mikisantamaria se hizo la POLE!

 Salíamos primeros, aunque el ritmo de @xavipuigdelliura era más alto que el nuestro y consiguió pasarnos.

Las primeras 40 vueltas @mikisantamaria_racing sacó una gran ventaja respecto a los 3os. 

 Hice el segundo stint de 40 vueltas intentando pillar a los primeros! Ibamos haciendo la goma pero no conseguimos atraparlos. 

Subir al podio y agitar el champagne es una de las mejores sensaciones!

80 vueltas Indoor Karting Barcelona 15/1/19

Indoor Karting Barcelona 80 laps endurance is one of the hardest races in Barcelona. Every team made by 2 racers, has to race 80 laps after qualifying. I made team with Dani GB as ERT2. ERT (Endurance Racing Team) is our team in Barcelona, and we also got some members racing against us.

Qualifying was really good, we got 3rd with a very good time. So it was time to RACE!

The race began without incidents, I began on the first stint (40 laps), I took some advantage from the 4th but I can not catch the 2nd. 

I keep it in 3rd during all my stint, then DaniGB took the kart and he stayed 3rd for all his stint.

CROSS THE LINE, we got the 3rd position! 

Can't wait for the next race! 

24h Karpetania 2018 - ERT

24h Karpetania is one of the most important endurance races on karting in Spain. I went with our team ERT - Endurance Racing Team to race the race as best as possible. The race consists of racing as a team during 24h; the first team wins.

All began on Friday, we went to check the track and walk throw it, to know every corner of it. Also, we made some racing against us, to check better the track from inside the track.





RACE DAY arrived, we wrapped our kart with our team and sponsors and we were ready to race!

We qualified very well and in the first stint, Jordi Pujol PUYIII96 put our kart in P2. But we made a mistake in our strategy. In the first hours, our strategy was made by 1h and 15min stints, and the other competitors were making 2h stints. We were losing positions, and then the kart broke the transmission in the fifth stint. Then was my turn, and with a new transmission, I was ready to take places.  

My first stint was only 1h of racing. I took some places, but it was hard to be again in the race. My teammates made a great job taking more places till night. Then we think of about changing the strategy, doing some 2h stints during the night and hopefully taking some places. 

After my 2h stint, we took some places, I felt really good and I was taking better times on every lap, but it was time to sleep for a bit. 

Early in the morning, I got my last stint. Only 1hour, it felt like I need some more, but I was rollin' pretty well behind the leaders, with some unlaps.

The race ended very well, we got a lot of fun and we are ready for next year!
