Geocentrum is a cycling race by teams. You and your team need to take some checkpoints fastest as possible to take the win. The track includes road and gravel paths, so you need to choose well your bike. In Geocentrum I, we decide to race in fixed gear and was a painful adventure (LINK). This time we took our CX bike (me on Single Speed CX) and we got this!
Race began in the Barcelona city center. You can choose 2 diferent tracks (Gravel or Road).
The check points where:
We began super good climbing to Collserola and going to the first checkpoint. We got to answer some questions about cycling world.
We were getting closer to Montserrat, were we got to chose the special stage of ROAD or GRAVEL.
We finally choose the GRAEL Special Stage and it was so hard. The hills were so crazy but we made it to the top.
One of our teammates got a serious hit going down the hill on the special gravel section; He got to leave us with the organizers in the checkpoint at Montserrat, and they returned him by car.
One of the last checkpoints was this awesome graffiti. It was before of one of the lasts hills. The end of the race was so heavy. We were so tired but we made it to finish line.
